"Hi, I'm Emma, the founder of Coastal Home Styling. I studied Textiles at St Martin's School of Art, London & have undertaken courses in Interior Design since moving to the coast. I have a real passion for design, interiors & all things property related. The Home Staging journey began for me a number of  years ago as a result of renovating several of my own properties, turning dark, cramped spaces into light, bright, inviting, practical rooms, with friends often paying compliments & asking for advice. When these properties went to market they sold quickly &  for more money than initially expected. I realised I could  potentially help others by providing advice on property presentation & decided to become a trained Professional Home Stager.

Having the vision to see how a space can be transformed is essential when it comes to styling & staging a home. With stressful jobs & busier than ever lifestyles, many people unfortunately do not have the time, enthusiasm or energy to get their property 'market ready'. This can have a huge impact on the saleability & achievable value of their property. The same scenario often applies to home owners who are looking to make changes & updates to their living environment. The aim of Coastal Home Styling is to provide an affordable, local service offering advice & help where required to create a welcoming, appealing property which is then either ready for marketing, or to make a space more appealing to live in.

Staged homes create a feeling of calm & reduce stress which promotes a positive overall sense of wellbeing. Personal experience & statistics also prove that Home Staging makes a real difference to a property's saleability. A staged home helps a potential buyer to imagine the property as their own, & increases their desire to move in and seal the deal! ."
